10 day Outreach blessed despite opposition
The EAB 10 day Outreach at Tavares received a lot of opposition from the traditional religious authorities in the town, but the 60 strong team plus another 60 reinforcements on different days, communicated the Gospel in the power of the Spirit. Six came to Christ and another seven are showing much interest and requesting personal bible studies in their homes this week. Please pray for them and all the follow up work now in progress. The town has been shaken by God's Word and the local congregation greatly encouraged and dreaming of building their own church.

Hampers
EAB looks back over a wonderful year- its 70th- and has much to praise God for. Celebrations took place in the UK and Brazil and the work has pressed on jubilantly.

Now at the end of the year the Mission is busy distributing its traditional Christmas Hampers to the poor involving no less than three tons of food kindly donated. Throughout this last part of December the focus is on Jesus and many services are being held as our Field Directors, John and Liz Medcraft, travel preaching the Gospel in Campina Grande, Patos, Caroá, Umburana and Manaíra.

Another special 10-day Evangelistic Outreach involving a team of 60 will start in Tavares on January 9th and the new project in Uruguai has been launched as we spread our wings to new territory in a new land for the glory of God. A very Happy Christmas and blessed New Year to all EAB's supporters and friends!

The programme lasted 90 minutes and was very well received. Viewers who check out this website can contact our director for further information on eabrazil@gmail.com . The programme has been repeated today and we praise God for this opportunity to share with the world the needs of the north-eastern interior of Brazil.

4 legs project

EAB Directors, John & Liz Medcraft, continue their visit to Europe. Thus far they have visited supporters in Switzerland, Wales, England and Scotland and God is richly blessing their ministry.

They have had meetings also with charities with which EAB works in partnership such as Tearfund and Positive Steps. These meetings have been most productive as are being those to a variety of churches.

In October John will be interviewed on Genesis (Sky) TV and visiting churches in Essex, Hampshire, Kent, Durham, Wiltshire & Buckinghamshire. They aim to return to Brazil on November 6th so let us pray for these final weeks of ministry in the UK and for the continuing work in Brazil in their absence.

Celebration

EAB/ACEV’s 70th anniversary celebration last Saturday was fantastic with 520 seated and about 200 standing. The atmosphere was wonderful and the whole spirit of the thanksgiving service was tremendous. The Mayor came with his wife and stayed right through the three and a half hour service which was electric from start to finish.

A special moment in the Celebration on Saturday in the Town Hall was when the speaker turned to the Mayor, who was on stage, and preached part of the sermon directly and specifically to him! It was powerful, tactful and rocked the Mayor visibly. It was done with much respect and taste but at the same time with much anointing and grace.

The celebration continued on Sunday with one meeting in the morning and another meeting in the evening.

The weekend celebrations were about remembering and thanking, but they were also about hearing God's Word in a very powerful way. Thanks for all your prayers!
